Livingston County Commissioner and former Sheriff Bob Bezotte will be the Grand Marshall. “ I’m happy to be a part of something bigger and as a group to help. Giving back to a community that has helped me over the years and to do this ride to save lives….I feel honored to be a part of it.” said Bezotte
This will be a fundraiser for a number of nonprofits here in Livingston County, Michigan. The primary nonprofit supported will be the Livingston County Dive Rescue Team. Along with the Brighton Chamber Ambassador Scholarship Fund (Michelle Milliken Chairman Contact info is 239.340.5700), as well as Livingston County Order of DeMolay, a local youth leadership organization. All donation can be made to the Nonprofits themselves.
The ride will begin at 8:30 am the Meijer in Brighton and will finish at the Howell Meijer.
The timing course will be located between the the two Champion Dealerships on Grand River and it will be called the Champion Grand Midway. Champion will supply the pace car for the ride. Plus auto detail package valued at $200 each. A drawing will be done on the entries of the ride for the giveaway.
Action Asphalt has agreed to sponsor the flags at both the start and finishing gates. They will also supply orange marking barrels.
The Iron Mustangs will help with the timing course.
Teams will consist of 6, 4, and 2 riders. Individuals are also welcome. Entrants must be 18 or older. All riders must follow the Michigan State Bike Laws when riding on state roads.
This is the first year for the ride. We intend to make it a fun and fit annual event.
There will be a NO entry fee this year. Any donation will be made to the Nonprofits that G1NBC Sports is supporting this year.
